Monetary donations to the Museum assist us in our efforts to honor those who served in the United States military. Through your support, we can bring new exhibitions to the Museum, provide educational programs, and continue the stewardship of our collections. Honoring those who served and preserving what they left behind remains our upmost priority.
If you are interested in donating to or becoming a sustaining member of the Mississippi Armed Forces Museum, please contact Programs Manager Melissa Koski at (601) 558-2306 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Mississippi Armed Forces Museum accepts 19th, 20th, and 21st Century objects, equipment, documents, and photographs that have an emphasis on the military service of Mississippians and those who trained at Camp Shelby or other military installations in Mississippi.
The best way to determine if your artifact would enhance the Museum’s collection is to read the Museum's Guidelines for Prospective Artifact Donors. If you feel your donation may fit the mission of the Museum after reading these guidelines, please submit an Artifact Donation Form for consideration. If we determine your offer may meet the Museum's needs, we will notify you and arrange to have the items sent or brought to the Museum. All Artifact Donation Forms can be e-mailed to the Historian/Curator Joe Wise at email@example.com or mailed to the Museum. Please contact the Museum before sending or bringing any items.
Volunteerism is a great way to contribute toward making the Mississippi Armed Forces Museum one of the premiere sites for learning about Mississippi military history.
If you are interested in volunteering at the Museum, please complete a Volunteer Application Form. Applications can be e-mailed to Programs Manager Melissa Koski at firstname.lastname@example.org, mailed to the Museum, or delivered to a Visitor Services Representative at the Museum.
